WESTMINSTER ACADEMY 3RD ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION OF ORIGINAL ART

Eligibility
Open to all students of A.C.C.S. Member Schools, the exhibition will include works in the following media:
Grades K-12: Drawing, Painting
Grades 7-12: Printmaking, Photography
All entries must be original and must have been executed since January 1, 2004.
Entries must not exceed 36 inches in width or height.
Exhibition Theme

Awards
Cash awards, totaling $1,700 will be disbursed as follows:
From each Grade/Medium Category
1st Place - $75
2nd Place - $50
AND
Best of Show - $200
Cash Awards were made possible through the generosity of sponsors committed to glorifying God through the visual arts.
Grade Categories
A - Grades K-3
B - Grades 4-6
C - Grades 7-9
D - Grades 10-12
Entry Procedures
Up to three (3) pieces per student may be entered. Students should submit original work only, no photocopies or slides will be accepted.
Important: Entries do not have to be framed but must be ready for hanging. Entries without hangers will not be accepted.

Entry Fee
A non-refundable fee of $10 must be included per student (not per work). Make all checks payable to Westminster Academy.
All accepted works must be suitably framed, mounted or matted and ready for hanging with appropriate hardware. All work must be clearly labeled on the back.

Liability Disclaimer
The ACCS or Westminster Academy cannot assume responsibility for damage or deterioration incurred before or after the exhibition, or for possible loss in transit. Entries will be handles with the greatest care; however, the ACCS or Westminster Academy assumes no liability for work on School or Gallery premises. Unclaimed work becomes the property of Westminster Academy.
Media Definitions
Drawing: Original compositions rendered with traditional drawinal materials including, but not limited to, Graphite, Conte, Charcoal, Ink, or any combination thereof.
Painting: Original works executed in Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil, Tempera, or Gouache, on paper, canvas, or board.
Printmaking: Original prints on paper in any of the traditional methods, including, but not limited to, Woodcut, Linocut, Intaglio, Serigraph, Lithograph, or Collograph. N.B. Print entry may be an Artist's Proof or from a numbered edition.
Photography: Original 8"X10" photographic prints in Color or Black & White.
Delivery
Entries may be shipped or hand-delivered to Westminster Academy at 2500 Ridgeway Road, Memphis, Tennessee, 38119. All work must be received by February 18, 2005. Shipped entries must be sent in reusable containers. The artist will be responsible for all prepaid shipping costs to and from Westminster Academy through UPS or FedEX office using the Call Tag System.
At the close of the exhibit, artists will call their local UPS or FedEX office and request prepaid return shipment of their Call Tag package back to the address of origin. A representative of Westminster Academy will pack each piece in its original packing (when original packing arrives in good condition) for the return shipment and have it ready for pickup on May 6, 2005.
It will be the responsibility of the artist to arrange for both shipment and return shipment of the artwork. Entry in this exhibit establishes an agreement on the part of the artist to all of these conditions.
